AUS-10 Stainless Steel is a high-carbon premium Japanese stainless steel. AUS-10 has an excellent resistance to rusting. The elements that make up AUS-10 help the steel reach a high level of hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, toughness, and superior edge retention. The hardness of AUS-10 steel is mostly caused by the incredibly high carbon-content of approximately 1.05. As a result the knives can easily be sharpened leaving you with razor-sharp edge. AUS-10 knives don’t need to be sharpened frequently.

When done using the knife, wash it in soap and water, dry completely, coat in olive oil and store away from the sheath. Leather pulls moisture out of the air and can rust the blade and bolsters if stored improperly.
